$3000-4000 seems pretty cheap compared to what they'll be worth in a few years with the legions of Sacagawea dollar specialists all lining up to buy. The competition from registries alone should propel it to new heights. And the design is among the top 100 dollar designs of all time.

Better than wasting it on classic crap.

I want one also. But I'm going to hold out for the $300 - $400 range.

You know modern crap just doesn't need to start out as high as it does. The price climb should be more gradual.

I really cant see a big demand for them since PCGS does not recognize them in their registry or grading for that matter. At least not yet.

For what it's worth, it is mentioned in the 2006 RedBook and by all indications will have a line listing in the 2007 edition.

I'll get one someday, I have a 1896-s, 1901-s and a 1913-s quarter.

I'll get that cheerios dollar sometime soon, but not at the expense of my 1901-s quarter.
