Since when does the seller's sense impact biders?

It appears that's the starting price the seller applied to it...... da reserve as you might say.

This coin, and at least 1 44-D NGC MS67FB Merc was probably Blue Moon's. The Merc was like at $900 or something (a $70 coin).

You'll see this coin on eBay in a couple of weeks with one of Blue Moon's really funny posts about how this coin was graded 19 times, yada yada yada.

Here's a nicely struck 53S I got from Teletrade last week. Heck, maybe I should list it on Ebay.

Heritage had a similar MS-66 in the signiture auction
I was high bigger and then the reserve came out at $1700, I thought it was a typo, because it didn't sell, and the BIN was 1950, again I thought a ty[po as most 66s were going for about 195 with the juice.

When I contacted them, they said no, that was thge correct price as it was as close to FBL as they have ever seen, and had spent a bunch at TPGs rolling the dice.

Heywood, how much did you bid? What do you think an appropriate premium would be for a well-struck 53S with close to full, but not quite full, bell lines?
