I just noticed today that David Lawrence Rare Coins has a new section devoted solely to error coins. Figured I'd pass it on.

    Quite an impressive assortment. I have no idea what these things are worth, so I will leave them to the experts.

    Yeah. I'm a fish out of water for the errors as well. Cool though that they are catering to the niche.

    Thanks for the heads-up; I'd been waiting for them to post this group.

    As usual, I have excellent taste -- I can pretty much pick out the expensive coins based on what I like. Oh, well. I did buy one at the low end.

    Pricing feels a little on the high side on average, but not universally. There are some decent deals in that list. Unfortunately, there are also several typos, some significant. Anyone buying had better look at the coin, not the description...

    There are some really nice examples of the NGC Multiholder in this group.

    Someone really liked wrong-planchet and double-denomination strikes, which isn't surprising considering how showy they are. Someone also liked cuds, which is surprising.

    Nice grouping. Well worth a flip through.

    And... gone.

    No, not quite, but a lot of these have disappeared even in the last hour or so. Looks like someone was happy with the selection!

    I'd read about this on an error coin listserv I subscribe to, this was a single significant collection purchased by DLRC for high-six figures. I hope all the good stuff isn't gone before I can even see it.

    It's a nice selection of errors. Fortunately I received an email with a list and scans, prior to them going live on their website.
