    I can barely make out the date in that picture, nevermind trying to grade it or attribute a variety.

    Wartime Alloy, 1943-S Jefferson. Image looks to be a minimum 66 possibly FS but hard to tell from the photo. I do not know of any specific varieties for the 43-S but then there's a lot I don't know.
    I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    Agree 100%, there is no way you could even guess a grade with that pic. Could have a doubled eye or a tripled eye---- can't tell cause you can't see the eye.
    Some coins are just plain "Interesting"

    Oh, that's easy. 1943s Jeff MicroImage-047, and since every 43s is an rpm it seems, and easily seen with even the cheapest electron microscope, an rpm as well, probably rpm-10,079

    It wouldn't be the doubled eye, as that was a 43-P - same deal with the 43/2.

    As far as I can say, that only leaves RPM's or doubled dies.

    I agree with the others - nearly impossible to tell using a scan, and a scan backed that far out is definitely impossible. As best I can tell with any certainty, a 1943S nickel in at least AU.
