  youll get all kinds of people arguing all kinds of different reasons but since you're new ill give you the straight poop. No matter what anyone here says PCGS slabbed coins (for the most part, nothing is 100%) sell for more money than the exact same coin in an ngc slab. plain and simple and that's all she wrote.

  If you are like me I like to have all of my coins in one type of holder. Since some of my best coins are in PCGS and for me they have been a little more consistent I chose the PCGS holder. This means if I want PR70DCAM coins I have to pay a premium. Truth be-told you may be just fine with an NGC-PF70. On the other hand I have seen people trying to make a profit by breaking out or doing crossovers to PCGS and 99% of the 70's will not get 70 at PCGS. I would imagine a similar scenario going the other way. There are probably many 70's graded as 69's. It is difficult to catch a 70 and if there is even the faintest thought of a mark it gets marked as 69. PCGS is much more stringent on this and with all of the above it makes it tougher to obtain.

  sound slike registry mania to me. I have always believed that if you cant tell the difference, don't pay the difference.
