Does Mozilla Print PayPal Labels Too Small for Everyone?

airplanenutairplanenut Posts: 22,410 ✭✭✭✭✭
When I print a label from PayPal in Mozilla, it always takes up around 2/3 of the page, as opposed to the whole page (I'm including the receipt portion), which is a problem since the receipt gets cut off, since the page is two 5.5x8.5 labels. When I go to IE, everything is fine.

If it helps, I'm using a widescreen laptop with a resolution of 1920x1200. I have also changed the registry so images in IE aren't fuzzy (something to do with a DPI change)

Thanks,

Jeremy

I have only tried to print the 8 1/2 x 11 sheets from paypal and that works fine. I have had other issues such as using the scroll wheel on my mouse in FireFox did not work but when I updated the mouse driver from Logitech it worked fine. Maybe an updated printer driver would work if it has been updated for Firefox.
  • I've had the same problem before. I reprint it and it comes out fine.

Not quite sure what the deal is but it's probably something in the printer settings.

try reprinting the same label and see if it comes out correct.

Reprinting hasn't helped--plus, I've tried both printing to a real printer, and a virtual printer... same results.

  • Check to see if the "fit to page" box is checked

Will selecting fit to page screw up all my other print jobs?

  • Go to File, click on page set up, then click the page and format tab at the top of the box, see if the shrink to page width box is checked and if the percentage number in the scale box is less than 100. The scale box needs to be set at 100. To change this uncheck the scale to width box and then change the scale box number to 100, and then recheck the shrink to page width box.

If this does not work post an update and I will try to help you figure it out. It is definately the settings.
    Cheers,
    Michael

i know this does not help, but how about a browser that is
    out of beta?

    opera.com

on a different note, paypal must have some strange web designers
who do not test with several browsers and find these quirks.

i hope you solve the problem to your satisfaction. good luck!

(writing this on win98 with opera)

Sorry, I'm an IE guy. No reason to have "other" browsers, so I don't use any of them. Wish I could help tho.
