Never underestimate the postal service. They may be late but they did deliver.

Luckily it was just a silver round so I wasn't sweating over it.

I guess the equipment wasn't so empty was it? Maybe an employee stashed it there to pick it up later but for some reason, never made it back? Either way..........

I am going to re-pay since I got a refund. The coin was a Maryland themed silver round. It was $7.49 and silver spot today is $8.80 so I guess it did go up in value. Woo Hoo!!

That happened to me about 3 years ago...they actually had a rubber stamp that said the same thing that was hand written on yours.

Makes you wonder if it happened so often that they needed a rubber stamp.

BTW/OT: Mine was from forum member aaron...he sold on eBay as aaron11306 and I've not seen him for maybe a couple years. He was a great seller and had some nice stuff. Anyone remember him or know what he's doing?

I had purchased a obw roll of 54-s jeffs from stockford last year, when the package was recieved it was empty...3 days later my mail man rang my bell and handed me the roll in a plastic bag

The record for the longest delay between mailing and delivery (I don't know if it was a letter or package) is 127 years.
