1857 Flying Eagle Cent with Die Break (CUD) on Center of Obverse

Does anyone know anything about this variety? I had one about three years ago and sold it on eBay for some reason. It was graded by ANACS as XF45 or AU50 (don't remember now). Anyway, the location of the break is directly above the 85 of the date and is in the center of the coin. I was wondering if the variety has been logged into anyones files, i.e. Rick Snow, etc.

Wish I had the coin so I could post a scan, but don't.

Thanks, Richard.

I'll be away for the next week at Baltimore, so don't expect me to respond during that time.

It is probably a Snow-16 with two 857's punched into the eagle's neck! Very neat!

Here are the highlights - the MPD shows evidence of being struck twice.
