<< <i>Just wondering - is he related to THE Miles Standish? >>
No, but Ron Howard is related to Opey.

<< <i>Must be 400 years old, by now. >>
Under the circumstances that makes me glad ANACS scores with him. (so to speak)
<< <i>Makes you wonder why Rick Montgomery, Miles and a few other key people have all decided to leave.

<< <i>Let's see, PCGS was overbid by just a tad and lost the PNG endorsement, founding fathers starting leaving, new graders were hired, grades started getting pathetic and we are now 7 months into a self imposed Presidential Review....people selling their Registry sets like crazy.....I must say, it's not looking too promising for the so called #1 tpg service on the planet.
To quote Questor54, dissing PCGS is bad

It certainly is a loss to PCGS, but any foretelling of doom for PCGS is certainly baseless and premature.
Best wishes to Miles!

<< <i>I met Miles during the summer 2004 ANA Advanced Grading class. Miles is a class act and brilliant when it comes to this profession. In fact it was through his cojoling me that I began to submit to PCGS also. I'm so mad at ANACS right now I hate to applaud them, so I won't.

Mad at ANACS? I'm on record here as a HUGE supporter of ANACS. They've always been top notch IMHO and every bit an equal to PCGS, better in some respects i.e. Slab size and design (Again, my opinion)
