Believe it or not this coin came out of an old canvas gym bag. It was in there along with many other silver coins. Some of them are toned just like this.

How long were they in there?
"Lenin is certainly right. There is no subtler or more severe means of overturning the existing basis of society(destroy capitalism) than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and it does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose." John Marnard Keynes, The Economic Consequences of the Peace, 1920, page 235ff
I don't know DickyBetz...If I don't own a coin with the exact same toning, with fingerprints in the exact same place---in fact, if it is not the same fingerprint--DNA VERIFIED----It must be AT----just look at your icon----its a coin,,,,and this is a coin---PROOF !!!!!
My grandfather put them in there with some old Whitman folder filled with Mercs and Roosies about 35-40 years ago. They've been sitting in my step-dads closet for about 10 years now and he let me go through them a few months ago.
