Is there anything I can do to get coins to tone? How do the various colors come up? Under what conditions could I get an icy blue cent like one of those in that topic?

Alright, I understand you send the coins in, but how can you trust the mail with your nice coins? I mean, If I'm sending in my Grandpas old coins, I want to be super careful, and I undestand shipping insurance, but...
Also, do they grade foreign coins at all?

CodyB, might I suggest you buy coins that have already toned. What you seem to want is a short-cut method to toning your own coins which many would consider unethical.
Many dealers sell attractive toned coins, saving you the hassle of creating them yourself. And you can pick the colors you want!
