My wife surprised me yesterday.....

....with a coin and her coin knowledge.
We were out getting morning coffee and she gets a handfull of change back. She doesn't usually look through her change like I do, it just goes into her change tray. But yesterday something shiny caught her eye. She picks up a shiny 1976 dime and says to me, wow this is really shiny, you should check it out I think it is a proof. As I was examining the coin I an not sure if I was more surprised that the coin she had just handed me was in fact a proof or that she had noticed it and identified it as such. She was pretty impressed with herself. I will say she is pretty supportive of my coin habbit. I usually show her my new coin purchases and she usually humors me and says something like "very nice, how much did that cost", and usually ends by calling me a coin geek. Anyone else's spouse ever surprise them with some coin knowlegde?
