    If chewed gum commands a premium imagine underwear. Imagine the buyer taking the first big wiff of his brand new memorbillia!

    I almost bid on a Maddux game used jockstrap a few years back but I just couldn't allow myself to actually do it.

    Just couldn't see mounting a jock strap in the old display case. talk about a conversation piece.

    I was in cooperstown a couple of years ago and one of the shops had a huge framed pair of mickey mantle's long john bottoms, and a pictures of the mick wearing them. the worst part was this wasn't a picture of the mick in his prime.....it was an old fat elvis version of the mick. It was really difficult to stomach the presentation....and i couldn't imagine why anyone would put it on their wall, let alone drop the $1000 the store was asking.

    Did Lemieux sign the "sweet spot" or the skid mark?! Nothing like soiled underwear with crispy bacon strips.

    Disturbing thought.

    Grammar does bring the "reporter" story into question.
