Supposing that I take a coin out of an uncirculated bank roll and send it in for grading, what would be the likely grade return from say PCGS?? Don't flame me too much. Thanks in advance.

If you pick one at random - MS63
If you search and pick out the best - MS66
If you request a minimum grade of 70 - M/G

If you just randomly pulled one out I supspect around a 63-64.
If you actually searched rolls for a decent one, 66/67 possible 68.
Would be lower for older coins of course. They would range about 61-64

Some metals are softer than others, too. To use the older gold coins as an example, $20 double eagles can grade MS63 even with a lot of marks on them- after all, gold is soft and those are some big, heavy coins. But a little $2.50 quarter eagle might not have any immediately visible marks and yet still it doesn't make MS63.
Most modern stuff should grade MS63. A casual cherrypick might find you some MS65 pieces.
To make the "supergrades" from your average bank roll of coins, you will have to be very selective, and a bit lucky.

This is much too general a question. There are great differences in mean, average, and
extreme quality from year to year and mint to mint. In the last few years MS-63 may well
be a pretty typical coin but the '99-P DE 25c would be much lower. The typical 1966 clad
coin would charitably be described as MS-60. Many 1974 Ikes looked more like VF's out of
the bag than they did uncs. Other coins will frequently look to be excellent quality.
