I have 2 1953 red seal star note two dollar bills both are uncirculated and in sealed plastic cases. I'm too cheap to buy a book, and too dumb to do a search. Anybody give me an estimate please. Thank you

Star notes sell for a little more and a true "67" is somewhat scarce but definitely not rare.

Did you go to Faber College?
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
As for onlybuffalo's response..."A gem new "67" (not a star note) graded by a major TPG can be easily found for $50 or so. Lesser grades are abundant. A new note that is not in a major TPG holder sells for under $10 - but be aware many/most notes sold as new that are not holdered by a major TPG are not new.

Don't believe everything you read, as TPGs are not as accepted in the currency world as they are in the world of coins. Small size $2s in the higher New grades can easily be found raw, and the absence of a TPG holder means little. A majority of small size notes, even in Gem New, are so inexpensive having them slabbed is a waste of money...unless you plan on fleecing some newbie on ebay.
Oh, and come on over to the currency forum!
