  Looking at their auctions I'd suggest that if you're buying a coin from them that it be one graded by a reputable TPG. Most of the raw stuff they have listed is cleaned and/or altered.

  09sVDB: Here's a new 1878-S PCGS MS-64 PL that I purchased this week from Great Southern Coins that looks really sweet, in one of those old "Fat" NGC holders.

  Don't confuse them with Southern Coins out of Metarie LA.
  
  That's Dennis Daray who IS a great dealer.
  
  I don't think the other Southern has the reputation. Just be careful and pay with a CC thru paypal AND make sure they ahve a no questions asked return.
