The entire coin doesn't look right. It's an obvious counterfeit.

Same verbage in the auction that was there before. It's still looking good.

Many of his other coin auctions are also fake or altered coins.

1943 copper cent
1848 half cent
1799/8 large cent
and would suspect his
1916D dime in AG/Fair
1846 Seated Dollar
1874S trade dollar
etc etc etc

I have been reading John Berendt's "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" again.
The book is set in Savannah and features many "colorful" and shady characters.
Apparent our Savannah lovely didn't make the cut.
