Question about PCGS rattler holders.

If the coin is rotated in the holder is there a way to get it back the way it is supposed to be?

    Taptaptap.

  • I have heard that gentle tapping on the side of the holder will rotate the coin. I haven't tried it but it might work.

Tapping works for both the old rattlers (easy) and the current holders (less easy). I hold the holder on the insert end and tap it (sometimes sharply) on a pad of Post-it-Notes sitting on my desk. The coin will rotate into position with patience.

Lightly tap the corner on a solid countertop. Repeat until desired effect is achieved.... image
