What does PCI stand for?

In reference to the grading service. This is not a joke (although I'm sure there's plenty of temptation to post a silly response). We just realized we actually don't know what the intitials (if they are initials) stand for.

    PCI= Pretty Crummy Investment.

    (Actually, some older green-label PCIs have been a good investment for me!)


    Anyway, it stands for Photo-Certified Coin Institute. (So it should really be PCCI).

    This is where someone posts a picture of one of the old PCI slabs that actually had a picture of the coin in the slab.

    The pictures weren't the best, but it was a way to detect any atempt to switch coins.
