I forgot to tell you guys I finished my Peace Dollar Registry set. Check it out!

Well, I've had the coins for a while, but I finally got around to punching them in to a Date Registry set. Number 9. Don't know how impressive that is, as someone with some money could complete a higher graded set in four hours at a coin show..........but I'd bet money they couldn't match how mine looks. G'head.........check em out. Pics of all of them are on display.

Congrats Eric! That is a great accomplishment. Finding quality is always difficult.

  • Pretty nice.image I have an all white 1922 - P thats creamy like the 1927. It`s one of my 3 or 4 favorites out of about 30 or so Peace Dollars I have. The 1926 looks really nice too.

Congrats on finishing your set! Very nice!

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

  • This sort of shows why some Registry sets are so overrated. The strike on the 1921 is in the top 10% and it's very clean. The 1928 "key" is nicer than many Gems I've seen. The 1935, and any Peace, is rare with lovely original album/roll toning-it's way underrated with that MS63 grade. You're right--anybody could beat the rank in a hour at 2 dealers at a show but it would take a true collector's eye and a long time to put a prettier set together at any price.image
