When is it the right time for a safe?

How much money do you think should you have in valued Slabbed coins before you should seriously consider a safe? just wonderin. i mean i dont think anyone in my family would ever swap a coin ( hell i know they wont) but my friends you never know. so how much in valued coins before you look into a safe and then again how small can i get that i can make sure everything stays like it should

How much do you trust your family ??
<< <i>need = value * risk >>
Value= cost/risk

So, by substitution...
Need = (cost/risk) * risk
well a few of my friends are nice people but i dont trust them around the coins. (other than my family i trust noone). but value is $4000. risk is whenever they come over. cost i paid about half that $2500. ( for the coins)

And if we simplfy,
Need = Cost
NOW, we're getting somewhere.....

mild, you probably don't need a safe. If your burning up, you'll eventually need a free standing, bolted
down safe, no matter how many coins you've presently aquired. Enjoy your collection when you choose to, keep it secured, and rest at ease when you're not at home. Coins are irreplaceable and should be treated accordingly, IMO.

From what I've heard they do on a cruise when they go with their "friends" she might not be so concerned about a "super secret" safe.
She might be..... ah, never mind.
