Because if I was a movie star, I would live in California, and I would spend most of my money on coins, not movie theater or bowling alley aditions to my house.

I have to say that I am in general, disappointed with the dealers in California. I travel a lot for work and try to visit dealers all over the country. The majority of dealers I have been to in California (primarily southern Cal), have little or no inventory in type coins. A few that I have found might have type coins, but nothing above XF.
Please note, this is a general statement. I do know of a couple of decent dealers with quality stuff in California.
I've noticed that California has many coin dealers, but how about Texas and Florida? It seems to me that Texas and Florida also have a lot of coin dealers as I noticed that many coin dealers have addresses in one of those two states.

Thank you, Wei and Rick, for stating the obvious. It is probably the reason that there is more of just about everything in California.
<< <i>There are more coin dealers in California, because California has very tough laws prohibiting shooting coin dealers >>
btw, did anyone get it right? What is the answer to your quiz?

also much less conservative as to investments than back east so it is easier to sell coins as it is stocks and bonds
people more open and free with $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
usually more hedonistic places (california) are easier to sell more non traditional forms of wealth like rare coinage
Besides, when the Governor was caught grab assing women, he just said "I behalved badly".
