Very beautiful coin. Any predictions what it will bring at auction?

I wish monsterman would chime in. Well, I haven't seen this coin in person, but I have seen MS68's 60k Oregon and that is a TOUGH coin to beat. Now, the most important question, would it cross?
Hate to say this, but even though I find that coin incredibly attractive, it screams AT to me. The toning is just a little too concentric and perfect, and it's strange that there's a spot of deep color in the center surrounded by an untoned ring. The colors should progress inwards, and the center should be untoned. I doubt it's the result of a tab holder, since there isn't a bar of color going all the way across either.
I love the Oregon Commem. My ideal Oregon would have toning on the reverse like this '33 does on the reverse. However mine would have the max crescent at 9: O'clock rather than 2: O'clock. I want to see that Wagon going west into the sunset....
The reverse luster on that 68* seems a tad dullish, but it could be the photo angle. Attractive coin to say the least. I'm not qualified to say if the art of AT is to that high a level yet.

well for me a commem coin from the 1930's with great toning and many are in gem and superb gem condition maybe not as greatly toned but still many in gem and superb gem condition and there is a value added thing in the holder as it could just go ms 67
and this coin had better have monster killer lustre booming out from underneath the toning and the highest point of the coin on the reverse is at the rim at 2 pm ----the tip of the conesta wagon
this had better have no marks or hits at all on this area of the coin
also the side of the wagon had better not have any hits at all on it and the same with the indian on the obverse the indians knees and outdtretched hand had better be clean of all hits
and if not as per the above then it is not an ms68
and even if so i think there are many better value opportunity coins in coindom

That Oregon is dazzling Lee. I was thinking how did I miss this thread and then realized it's a week or so before I joined the forum. I just had to this one!

Actually, I just checked, it's not the same one that sold for $69K from Superior's Auction last year. That coin was a 1926 Oregon PGCS 67.
Tonecoin2003 really outdid himself on that one!

Now that's funny.
