No. 2, all day ... that coin is pretty hammered for a teen S mint, appears more lustrous as well. Given a duller, mark free coin with a weaker strike vs. a more lustrous, better struck coin with a few ticks, that's pretty much a no brainer on a Buff.

Sorry, but if I had to choose I'd go with #1. The strike is not too hot, but the second coin has a big scratch starting just above the T in LIBERTY and running across the Indian's cheekbone.

Cleaner coin.

#1 is MS64 - weak luster and strike.
#2 is MS65 - better luster and strike, but has a scratch on the cheek.

#2 MS64 I like this one.
The Ludlow Brilliant Collection (1938-64)
Both look to have a tiny bit of rub to them.
The second one is much better, though.
