IH collectors... post your favorite Snow attributed variety

Minted in mass quantities under the least controlled conditions, IH's provide the most wonderful variety specimans.

For example: my favorite Snow variety is the 1897 "1 in bust" -- how the hell could a "1" of the date become this misplaced? This example was originally purchased from Rick Snow and I believe is the finest known, graded PCGS MS64RB.

But there are so many other cool IH varieties. Let's see some more.

That's in my top 5 Idhair, the coolest of all clash varieties.

    I found it about 1990.
The dealer discounted the price in half because of the damage to the reverse.image
I knew it was a clash but could not understand it.
I do now only due to some of the great information we have today.

The only significant variety I know I have is the 1870 Pick-Axe. Apparently at one time this was listed as S-7 in the original work but it may be different based on the reverse?

[Edit to add: Believe it or not, I once had some submissions to burn at NGC so I submitted this. They graded it AU-58!!! image I cracked it out again because it's part of a set best displayed raw]

You guys are taking the good ones. image Here's one I still find fascinating, the 1890 QDO (distended hub). I count at least 7 steps on some of the letters along with the RPD.

One of my favorites is the 1866 S-1. It is a double die obverse (DDO), misplaced digit in the beads of the necklace, and msiplaced digits in the denticles (below the 6's). Three neat variety features in one coin!

The one pictured is currently in for grading at PCGS.

    Thanks Rick,

    It's darn near perfect, IMO.

This 1883 S-1 ("1" in the neck, blow the necklace) is another one of my favorites. This example currently resides in ANACS MS-65 BN plastic. This coin looks better than my poor photo. The stuff around the chin is on the slab. The coin has great luster.

My favorite is the 1894 S-1 repunched date. When I first started seriously cherrypicking, I kept tripping over these at seemingly every show. The pics below are of an eBay coin in a very early die state, but with a couple of... problems. image

I believe Mr. Snow attributed the shallow N variety shown here:
