I wonder if the consignor got less than a million dollars for this

It sold for 1,063,750 with the juice and it seems like the coupons are good for 30K+ each. Any ideasimageText-------------------------------BigE

  • Since the bond was called, the coupons are not redeemable. As the description states, the bearer of the bond can redeem it for the principal at any time until 2047.

    I suspect the consignor got a "deal" and will get something north of a milltion for it (perhaps $1,030,000). The buyer paid a $62,000 premium above face for this "collectible".
