Subscription v. Collectors Club premiums

Does anyone here have any experience with the the quality of the Silver Eagle Premiums offered by both PCGS and Coins Magazine?
I'm asking because;
1.) When I rec'd my MS68 Eagle from PCGS for becoming a CC member, I recall that I was not at all happy with the quality of the ASE (and if I recall correctly, neither were many of the other recipients).
And
2.) Recently I purchased at an Estate Auction a box of ASE's that were given out to subscribers to Coin Magazine and Coin Prices out of Iola, Wisconsin and these pieces appear to be far superior to the pieces given out by PCGS. As a matter of fact, I can't find a single contact mark on any of them.
Anyone else have this experience?
Thanks, Jim

I do agree with this, it's bullion.

The complaint is not the gift, it's the fact that they mass holder low grade ASE's as MS69's.
