  For those of you who were wondering, this is an example of the 1794 LM-4/V-4 die marriage. Although it is considered R-4, Logan and McCloskey state it is the most common of the four 1794 die marriages. The distinguishing characteristics that can be picked up easily on the ebay photos include the three inner berries below the left wing and the very low placement of the date. Those with better eyes and better computers may be able to pick up more, but I sure can't.
