How not to sell a rare coin on eBay, examples #866 and #867

A couple of winners I found over the weekend:
1851 $50 gold piece
1871-CC $20 gold piece
For the second one (how many red flags can you find in that listing?) I actually had pity on the seller. We were all newbies once, right? I sent him a message after the auction closed agreeing that the 1871-CC $20 was a really rare coin, but that he should get it authenticated. He responded that it was worth more than I could afford, and that I should get a life. Nice attitude.

I am sorry that I missed those auctions. I would have pulled the trigger on both of them. What a deal!
