Hardest "P" mint Buffalo

What date is the hardest "P" mint Buffalo Nickel to find. In MS and nice full horn VF/XF. I'm having trouble with the 1921. What years did you have trouble with?

Other than the double dies the '21 is probably toughest above G. In AG and poor the '14 might be harder.

I've found the 1918 to be tough well-struck. They can be found with a little searching.

Most of the mintage comes with a very poorly defined knot and braid on Iron Tail.

1925 is another. ALL specimens exhibit shallowness on the date and finding a decent coin is tough.

i beleive the hardest p is the 25 fully struck, this coin is typically mushy

Depends on grade VF-EF or high grade UNC. In VF-EF, I tend to agree the 21 is the toughest.

1918, 1920, 1924, 1925, 1928, 1929 are all hard to find in fully struck MS. MS examples are available for all of these, but usually with mushy strikes. 1918 is probably toughest, and the 1925 is harder to find with a well struck "19" in the date. A really well struck 1930P is tough as well.

This 1918 is the best of two MS examples I have, the strike definitely fuller than my other Buff, but clearly a bit of softness on the Buffalo's head and pretty much the entire obverse. Agree? Overall not too bad and I've enjoyed it a lot.

The 1921 is certainly the toughest, but the 1918 and a nice 1917 also seem to be hard to come by.
