Pic: maybe the unlikeliest coin in my type set

Sort of my way of saying "Hi, guys, I still exist." I've been lurking plenty...

This one came to me at face value from a roll at the bank last summer. It was the end coin -- if you look closely, you can see the pattern of paper folds. I was pretty impressed with it, despite the fingerprints -- there are some pretty wild colors in there, and I just don't run into many truly vivid clad halves. The reverse is as intensely pigmented, but more of a uniform orange & plum scheme prevails there. I moved a nice gem 2003-D out of the slot to make way for this one. The silver coin in the neighboring slot is a wild toner (acquired from an unsuspecting dealer's junk box, no less) so this one goes much better alongside it.

Sometimes these unique cheapies are my favorites of all.

Definately has some ugliness to it, in a blotchy fingerprinted kinda way image
Always looking for attractive rim toned Morgan and Peace dollars in PCGS or (older) ANA/ANACS holders!
