South Florida is trashed -- how are you guys doing??
Wow,
we are one of the first in Miami to get our power back after Wilma....fortunately, my coins are safe...if you've never been through a really big hurricane, try to avoid it....fortunately, this big blow was far less than New Orleans felt with all the floods....my heart goes out to them stilll...Wilma was a CAT 3 hurricane, sounds tame??? Well, the little pond (about 200M across) beside my complex had 3-4 foot swells when the winds came from the South (maybe 115-120 MPH)....It's pretty darn scary when you see 15-20 Palm Trees in a row all snapped in the middle...still 2M in Dade and Broward counties (Miami/Ft Lauderdale) without power...tempers are flaring at the gas pumps, since there is gas, but no electricity to work the pumps...I would NOT want to be the Director of FEMA!!!...
.......someone sell me a great roosie to raise my morale!!!!!!!
At least Orlando got spared, I can't wait for FUN!!!
Anyone else in S.FL. on tonight?? Take care....

We had a tiny bit of rain here in SE GA, but that's about it.
Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.
It was nice though to not lose power this time though, like we did in all 3 Hurricanes last year...

I wish I had a roosie to show you. I sold the last of them a while ago. Take care!
