Ebay Help: Show the Raw Coin in Flip or Without Flip

If I were to list a raw coin on ebay, is it best to secure the coin in a carboard 2x2 (or even a plastic flip) and take the picture or just to have it "naked" or on a soft surface or something?

Naked pictures come out better since there is no reflection to get in the way.

Do two close up photos of the coin without a flip and then two slightly wider shots of the coin in the flip.

edited to add: Use all 4 pics in the auction. It's good to get a close and a distance view of a coin. If you use the gallery feature put the close up of the most recognizable side (depending on denomination) as the gallery photo.

Ya, I was just thinking the same. In the past, I have listed slabs where I take a close up of the obv & rev, make a nice collage (like many on this board do), and also include a wide shot of the slab.

    Thanks!
