JJ Teaparty has a bunch of new circulated Barber halves - mostly ANACS graded
Fellow Barber collectors, JJ Teaparty has recently posted on their website, a bunch of circulated, ANACS graded, Barber halves - mostly in the XF/AU grades. I've noticed that some of the better dates Barber halves have already been sold.......but there are still plenty of the newly acquired ANACS halves remaining. When I buy certified coins, I usually stick to NGC and PCGS, but I have to say, some of these ANACS Barber halves looked pretty nice.

Who says PCGS coins don't command a premium? JJ Teaparty
this one!
You're absolutely right about the huge difference in their pricing PCGS vs. ANACS. With your example, for a little bit more detail.....is it really worth paying more than double the price for a coin?
Some of the ANACS coins looked really nice and original, others I thought may have been lightly cleaned at some point in time, (showed some hairlines on the coin).
What 3 coins did you snag, I bet the 1900-s was one of them.
Tyler......thanks for supplying the link!

Cladiator,
Did you score any key date Barber halves......I'm wondering about what I may have possibly missed.

Hmmm ... wonder if they picked them up in St Louis this past weekend. Then again, I didn't notice that many on the bourse so they may have struck early on ...

Having been slammed by Hurricane Wilma, and we still don't have any power, I have been unable to get on line until my company opened for business.
What great pick ups did everyone get at JJ Teaparty ?

Sorry to hear you were affected by Wilms and hope you get power soon at home. We got hit hard by Isabel 2 years ago, not as bad as you all by looks on TV, but no power for 2 weeks reminded me how spoiled I am.
I bought the 1909 XF ? really VF++ ? with the marks under the eye that must have scared everyone else off, prob paid too much, but it did have that nice look to the toning by the picture-- will see what looks like in real life.
