You know, one would hope that eBay had the brains to automatically check on any auction that went over, say, $100,000 just to see if it was legit. How much do you want to bet that they're completely oblivious?
By the way, $99 million is a serious record breaker which won't be matched for........at least 1 eBay week.
TDN You really should contact the seller and help him complete the transaction....you just sold your 1913 for $99M!!!! I'm sure jan9101 would be happy to learn he just paid $99M for it
The perfect scam...list it on ebay.....post a link on the message board....turn the auction into a joke.......get bidders to run it up thinking it was funny......then whamo let'em know SUPRISE!!! you just bought it.
I can't believe I missed it again. I had my grubby hands on it a few weeks ago and started to bolt for the door but the two burly large security guards keep looking at me. Now I missed a chance to buy it legitimately.
Wait now, did my peepers see this seller's name/address in the payment instructs? What a kewl fool. Must be a YoungScammer, as you would 'think' that an adult would have better 'sense'.

<< <i>Astounding. Russ outbid TDN for a classic rarity! >>
And I saved a screen shot.

<< <i>Since it's really my coin, shouldn't he have to pay me?
That's a tidy profit you've got there.

Post the auction to a financial bulletin board and see what happens to the stock.

Enough time for one to put their affairs in order and put the winner's affairs out of order.
