    Whats a mercury Dime?

Just kiddin, isnt what me who checked that box.

I prefer mainly white mercury dimes, a little light toning that shows originality is fine as well, if one side of the toning is darker, Id prefer it to be on the reverse rather than the obv. Heavily darker toned merc dimes although sometimes pretty, are not for me.

If I had a choice I would choose obverse, because I tend to have my coins filed/displayed that way.

Enough about us. Inquiring minds want to know your opinion, D! And if you prefer obverse toning, isn't that a case of reverse discriminationimageimage

I think the reverse looks coolest toned. The obverse is OK but a flaming torch is the best!

I love to drool over obverse toned mercs. I have several of them in my dansco and it adds lots of flavor to the album.

Even tone on both sides framing Miss Liberty and the Sticks looks the best IMHO.

It does matter. I prefer the obverse to be toned personally, just because I've got more with the obverse toned and in my opinion, coins should be obverse up, so being the first thing seen, it should be the best side. (If that makes sense ;P) Both sides is of course a major plus, and Coinlieutenant has some of the finest double sided toned Mercs on the market image.

Isn't it actually the Winged Liberty your referring to?
I actually prefer the pure new look and dislike toning on any of my coins.
