For those that missed the listing :
Seller from Canada was offering a 1 oz Platinum Proof Eagle - either an '05 or '04 - ( I can't remember )
Opening bid was around $800 - $900
Listing was a 3 day auction
seller had 0 feedbacks
Wanted quick payment by major money order or wire
seller wanted tracking number if money sent by mail
seller claimed within a short time after auction ended they were going to end their registration with eBay to avoid paying listing and transaction fees
Claimed they would pick up shipping fees if buyer would play along with this obvious scam
Is it my imagination or are there a large number of Platinum related scams going on with eBay lately?
