I've reported these two auctions twice

for keyword spamming. Ebay has still not done anything.

I have reported the top two auctions twice now in the past 24 hours!

I may be wrong, but having the term PCGS in the sub-title does not constitute keyword spamming because the subtitle wording does not affect, and is not included in, searches.

It does if you tell it to search title and description, etc.

I don't say this makes it right but apparentely the search function does not pick-up the second line info. So these two auctions would not appear in a search for PCGS which I think is the real issue with keyword spamming.

Why do you care? Why just not read the fine print or look at the picture. The only way I would be upset would be if I bought a coin shown as being in a PCGS holder in the photo or stated so in the description only to recieve a raw coin or a coin in another holder. I think this is most likely tilting at windmills. JMHO.

The one auction is misleading....try that. It is actually a 1903-S NOT 1903

I've reported this seller twice recently and Ebay has done nothing:

Link to his listings, some of which are NGC coins but have PCGS in the title

I know this may be inconvenient and bring up some garbage coins for us when we search, but why do WE have to be the police for PCGS (and it only seems to be PCGS, what about NGC spamming)....if they aren't concerned (nor is Ebay), why should we be so worried about it?

I wonder how many search eBay using stunning and/or coin?

It's not a matter about being worried about it but the fact that when you do a search using the keyword PCGS (yes, some of us actually search for PCGS slabbed coins image ) your results include auctions of coins not slabbed by PCGS. Not only is this very annoying to continually open auctions where the coin is not slabbed by PCGS when that is what I am looking for, but it is also against the rules for that very reason.

Because of this and many of the other issues people commonly post about ebay (and other things as well), I gave up using e-bay to buy and sell months ago. And I don't even miss it.
