could the most honorable board put me onto someone who will help me with such.
have 13 very nice ones discovered out of an old collection. The way they were toned up
was a total accident. Gentleman had weaved a piece of paper in between the dollars like
an accordian. Tied a rubber band around them and put them in storage. That was 50 years ago.
toning is on obverse only. sorry no pics, that is one of the things i need the help with.

By your description, sounds like both sides of each coin was in contact with the paper? What's the paper look like now?
Apropos of the coin posse/aka caca: "The longer he spoke of his honor, the tighter I held to my purse."
If the coins were wrapped the way cullenbryant describes, with the paper woven between them like an accordian, then both the obverse and reverse of each coin would have been in contact with the paper. It would be COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE for the coins to have toned on the obverse only if that is how they were stored for 50 years. The obverses and reverses would have toned similarly.

Hoax? ME? no way. i was surpirsed by the fact that these were toned obverse only.
i don't know how that happened. sure there's some evidence of toning on reverse. but that beutiful mirror rainbow is only on
obverse. these are all ms condition in my opinion (never claimed to be a grader).
they are being sent to kyle on monday. he's going to image/grade them. Thanks DUIGUY for your help.
looks like three are graders, maybe more depending on what kyle says when he sees them in hand.
