You happened to pick a great city for a coin shop. There are three affiliated coin shops in the Cincinnati/ Florence, KY area that you should make a point to check out. They all operate under the name Coins+, and are located at the following addresses:
Coins+ 225 East 6th Street Suite 1 Cincinnati, OH (513) 621-1996
Coins+ 2092 Florence Mall Florence, KY (606) 371-1414
One of the co-owners, Brad Karoleff, is a Vice President of the John Reich Collectors Society (JRCS), and is editor of their journal. He is also a member of the Bust Half Nut Club (BHNC). He writes a monthly article for Coin World (Designs of the Times). Brad is knowledgable on all coin series, but is particularly strong on Bust coinage and the early minting processes. Ask for him, and enjoy an entertaining discussion about coins. Mention my name (Mr. Half Dime) and he will probably double the prices.

I would make it a point to go see Mike and Joe at Main street Coin (Cincinnati Rare Coin Gallery) They have an extensive inventory and are very knowledgeable.
In my opinion they are the premier coin shop in the Cincinnati area and well worth the trip.
Joe has a call in talk show at a local radio station where he answers callers questions about coins and currency. He also teaches a class at a local vocational school about the basics of coin collecting.
Their location is 4942 Dixie HWY (Route 4) in Fairfield Ohio that’s about a 20 minute trip from downtown cincinnati
My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
I will second MrHalfDime's thoughts on Coins+. Brad is a class act, and I rarely leave without learning something new. The downtown store is next to P&G on 6th street between Sycamore & Main.
You can't forget to refill on Graeters and Montgomery Inn while you are here.
September 29th was the last show. With the holidays and scheduling I am not sure when the next show will air.

One small change. The new Florence, KY address for Coins+ is 8077B Connector Dr., across the street and just south of the Florence Mall. They have moved to a new, larger and improved store after almost 30 years in the mall. Phone number remains the same.

What time is the talk show on coins, and what station carries it? I have never heard about it.
Thanks.
