Do you consider phrases like the below in eBay auction listings key word spamming?

<<Most of our coins are graded by PCGS, NGC, SEGS, NTC and ANACS.>>

Bill: I definitely consider it key word spamming when any TPGS name is used in the title of an auction for a raw coin, or one graded by a lesser TPGS.

I also would expand that to include the auction description, although on E-Bay that's easier to filter out by using a "title search" vs a "description search".

However, I do agree that both are very annoying, and are bordering on misrepresentation...

    Only in the title eh?

So if you do a search using PCGS as a key word and a list of 50 coins comes up and only 3 of them are in PCGS slabs and you have to look through the other 47 because of the above are you still happy?

You can put lines like this : <<Member ANA, NENA, CONECA, JRCS, SPMC, LTS, CWTS. Authorized Dealer NGC and PCGS.>> on your about me page instead of the auction description..

I do PCGS title searches all the time. 99% of the results are PCGS graded coins. Only once in a while I'll come across a keyword spammer and report them.

I NEVER search under title and description. That's where you come up with a list of 50 coins and only 3 of them are in PCGS slabs.
