I wonder how much Mom and/or Dad had to do with that........hopefully it came from the heart, or at least written with a sense of true remorse and capitulation.....
Hi guys, Thanks for your comments. I will try as best I can to live up to my expectations. As to the above comments, yes I really am 15. My birthday was August 29th,I like to think of it as my 2nd anniversary as a wannabe dealer(I've been collecting since I was 8). I actually started about a month before my 13th birthday, but didn't really get the wheel moving till about a month later. I started out with just a little over $150 in cash and probably just that same amount in coins from my collection that I decided to sell. I've been at it for over two years now and things have definately changed. I can and do own coins I only dreamed of just a year ago and am actually making money now on the coins I sell! Other things have changed as well,I'm still no expert but my grading skills have improved greatly if you were to compare the current me to myself back then. I had many good things happen to me during my quest to become a dealer, but I also made my fair share(and still do on occasion )of mistakes. I got caught in the trap of buying overgraded slabbed coins,ACG/PCI/etc., but I picked up from where I had left off and kept on going. Sorry if any of that sounded like boasting, I didn't mean it to. Actually my parents don't really have much to do with my coin dealings. They are very supportive of me selling coins and all, just as long as I finish my schoolwork and chores. As for any help financial support,it's basicly been my money the entire time. If I make money it's my profit,if I lose money on a coin it's my loss. So why not help out a YN's college fund and bid on my eBay auctions!
And yes my apology was "from the heart" and not an act of "capitulation "

For some reason, I thought he was an old man. I frequently get a mental picture based on the name. Obviously, it doesn't always work!

Those were my thoughts exactly.........I almost hit the floor when he told me his age.
