GRADE REVEALED - PF 65
The toning is what I thought would throw people onto the Mint State Path..

I was about to say that was the finest MS liberty nickel I've ever seen, therefore it must be a proof. I'd say PF 67...Mike

I don't really see any luster but that doesn't mean the camera just didn't get it.
If there is luster I would say PR66.
If there is no luster and this is how the coin looks in hand I would say PR64 maybe 63.

It is a proof. I'll guess 66 because of the toning. No toning and it would be a 67.

I don't know if I agree with the PROOF designation.
The rim doesn't look like a PROOF.
I have seen some (other) high grade MS Lib Head nickels with that type of surface on the face, I think that is a Barber thing.
I like it as a MS65/66

Depending upon luster, I will guess either MS-65 or, if great luster, MS-66.

The rims aren't the only thing that denote a proof. The details are different on a proof. I saw it was proof as soon as the picture loaded - no doubt about it.

Nice liberty nickel. Proof features: very smooth fields, frost on relief, little luster, wicked strike.

Not sure why so many did not see it as a proof. Here is a good side by side with my PR65.
