The seller states that he is not sure if this is a reproduction or not. I just did a quick search on Continental dollars. There are many sites listing fakes and warnings all over the place that this coin is heavily replicated. Also there are warnings that this is a rare pattern coin and authentication is recommended. The buyer doesn't have to be an Einstein to do a littlle research. The internet is right there to help you. How much easier could it be?
