It CAN'T be a fake- remember, if it's on Ebay, that means it's ALWAYS genuine, undamaged, has NATURAL toning, and it's NOT overgraded.

This is an auction by one of those eBay consignment centers. They probably have no idea of what they are listing. They do give a number:

Give them a call and tell them that they are selling a reproduction worth $5 or less.

The seller states that he is not sure if this is a reproduction or not. I just did a quick search on Continental dollars. There are many sites listing fakes and warnings all over the place that this coin is heavily replicated. Also there are warnings that this is a rare pattern coin and authentication is recommended. The buyer doesn't have to be an Einstein to do a littlle research. The internet is right there to help you. How much easier could it be?
