SHHHHHHHHHHH Don't tell... The server will be slow enough!

I plan on buying enough to sell in order to cover the costs of the ones I keep.

Thanks for reminding me -- I almost forgot these went on sale today. I just picked up 5 (1 for me, 4 to sell).

    not buying any at all

for a fast buck to some collectors who could not get their order in fast enough or being aBLE to access the system in a timely manner

so i am not going to peddle

any to some who missed the sets due to not being first in line or lucky enough to get one set for themselves and have to buy them from the retards that ordered as many as they can get out of greed to sell to others unfortunate enough to not be able toaccess the system for their one set for their collection

There is no minimum production limit given. A limited run is a big selling point that the mint rarely misses. That leads me to believe these will be unlimited.

Was the 2004 set limited? They are long sold out.

Me. But I don't think they will do very well. I hope I'm wrong.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

They are to hold...these sets will be sleepers down the road...I ordered 10 to go with the ones I ordered from last year...which two I gave as gifts.

I tend to agree with Michael. There would probably be more than enough of these mint issues to satisfy the demand if people just ordered a set (or two or three) for themselves instead of hoarding them to sell to others in the near or distant future. I am glad to see the Mint increasing the production so that, hopefully, everyone who wants one can get one from the Mint and bypass the short-term profiteers.

Looks like the 04's are going for between $30 and $35 and the 04's sold out. Anyone know what the max mintage will be on the 05's?

My guess would be a lot more than the '04 set. The mint sees a cash cow and they will milk as much of the speculative greed as possible.
    I blame ebay for this.

There are many, many things which are "ebay's fault" IMO-such as not responding to outright fraud and counterfeit coins , even when fraudulent listings are pointed out to their reps. I don't think ordinary collectors being shut out by speculative frenzy over a US mint offering is one of them.

I also think that anyone hoping to turn a quick profit on a US mint offering which doesn't have a mintage limit had best move quickly, and factor in the possiblity that they may even lose money.
    Just my 2c...

These sets should have premium coins in them.

I havent seen them that high, I only did a quick scan, I know the coin and medal sets are going for $100+ on ebay. I will buy because I have the 04's, no resale here.

I checked, the '04 set is only going for $30ish.

I think the '05 set is a good buy and hold for the grandkids.

'05 has no limited mintage. Besides people ordering today and hoping to get their order sooner than everyone else and putting them on eBay to get a "delayed delivery for everyone else" bump, I don't see many buying in bulk to flip.
I heard they were making a French version of Medal of Honor. I wonder how many hotkeys it'll have for "surrender."

I don't have my crystal ball to tell if they will be a success financially, but I like them.

I bought 8 sets and will probably sell 4 on the bay when I get them at whatever price they go for.

The 2 proof coins are selling around $10 on ebay now so the down side can't be much.

Should get $10 for the proofs and at least .$20 for the 4 satin nickels.image

That's exactly why I ordered a few sets. I like the silver proofs.

How many do you want? I'll give them to you for 25% under the eBay offers of $100+

Well, I was able to order 10 sets without a problem. A little slow on their website, but went through okay. I missed out last year. Maybe I can find someone who wants to trade 5 of last year's sets for 5 of this year's sets.

Are the Unc nickels NON SATIN??? I'd buy if they are not satin

    If so, this might be good. I'd like to see a non-Proof / non-satin P & D nickel in a mint set.

    Anybody know forsure????
