How about a plug for your favorite coin dealer (Internet/mail order)

The best transaction I've ever done was with Duane Mock out of Washington state. easy to work with and very fair with returns/exchanges.

  • Board members I have bought from.

    VTCOINS AND WAYNEHERNDON.

Both good ebay sellers. no problems from my end.
I only bought albums from wayneherndon, and most likely mint or proof set(s) from vtcoins.

Mr. Richard Medina, Lone Star Coins in San Antonio is my favorite "in person" dealer. Friendly, always willing to show me or my children new or interesting coins, and enthusiastic to share his expertise and love for error coins. Whether I buy something or not, I am always treated the same.

Internet and mail order is JJ Teaparty. Great variety of coins, accurate grades, accurate attributions, and new coins coming in sufficient quantity each week to keep me clicking on the web site.

As far as memebers here, I would say Mark Feld Rare Coins and Eagle Eye Rare Coins. Online dealers, JJ Teaparty and DLRC...Mike
Collector of Large Cents, US Type, and modern pocket change.
  • Mark Feld here on the forums.. He found me a dealer who could use my SS Central America $20 gold, I never met him before or the dealer who purchased it for $3200. I sent the coin through the mail to someone I have never met and the same day Mr Albanese received it, he sent the $3200 next day.. Mark made me a $1400 profit on this AU58 $20. image
  • Pinnacle for choice material at the higher end of my budget. DLRC (in spades) for items below this level. I can't say enough positive things about DLRC and their customer support. It is the best I have ever encountered in ANY industry. So much so that I considered approaching them for a career opportunity.

Northeast Numismatics Inc., DLRC, and Dick Osburn. Great dealers and they have an excellent inventory of coins.

Larry Whitlow, Ltd. - great coins and great customer service!
  • Most of them aren't dealers but I'll say board members.

Rare Coins of New Hampshire has got to have the best customer service of all dealers I have ever dealt with, in person or not. They unfortunately don't get a ton of new material flowing onto their website, but I'm sure they do the want-list thing diligently.

I have never been to New Hampshire nor met face to face any of their employees but they feel like old friends.

Who, and where, is this Duane Mock?
I live in Washington State so it would be nice to know....got a website? Anything?

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

  • I have a jointed minnow that is my favorite plug, does well with the small mouth bass down in the river. . .

Ooops, my only dealings have been eBay, heritage, teletrade & superior. Superior can be a pain in the hind parts with their phone solicitations. The others, you look, you buy with eBay requiring a considerable amount of extra attention, which is why I've slacked off of their site.
