Okay, how many of you stepped up to the plate for the free Presidential Review?

I thought it was a pretty generous offer, but for it to be meaningful a sizable sampling would be needed. Who stood up to be counted?

The order I was definitely going to submit was entered 4/13, really thought it would fall within the time frame, but is still not done.

Same with me - I have two orders from 4/13 that I would have loved to taken up HRH on his offer.

Maybe they put a hold on all modern submissions until 6/1 imageimage

Unfortunately, I missed the deadline but there needs to be a serious review of what the current CAM/DCAM standards are (especially SMS series). My standards haven't changed but based on my last two submissions (20 coins....2 Cameos) it appears that the line has moved to the right. Call me a whiner but if I submit a 1966 SMS Rosevelt that looks very much like a modern proof and it can't even be called a Cameo...the standard has changed.
  • So, Russ..... got any answers yet from David on yours?

No, and I don't expect to until he gets everybody's done and posts the results.

What about that huge submission of lincolns (I think they were lincolns) that got that member excommunicated and set the whole thing off in the first place. I guess those weren't going to be included? image

I did a Presidential review and paid for it about 3 months ago. It was one of those things I had to do.

The "window" is too small. This all started (for me) with the beginning of 2005. I've never seen so may useless grades in my life.

I,ve spent all day, once again, at auction houses looking at 66s and 67 and re-examing these "things" I got over and over again thinking I just might have missed something and could be wrong but the verdict is always the same. No, I didn't miss a thing and after months of this I simply cannot understand the "grades" at all.

So. I'm supposed to send them in again for regrade and be out that much more per coin. Uh-uh, not gonna happen.
  • I emailed David about some SB's I have in right now, and was hoping they would fall into the category, as these are my best 15 SB's from 40 rolls (from approx. 120 SB's.). I only get one chance on these, so hope they do me right.

Same w/me. I had an order in on 4/14. I thought for sure it would have made it in time.

Ok. Plenty of time has passed (3 months plus) and still nothing!

And the really curious part is that Russ is not hollering for the results. So what's up Russ? Why are you silent on this long overdue subject??

It is almost as if David Hall (Blessed Be His Name) has "silenced" you on the subject! Did you two cut some sort of secret dealio whrein you get all the cameos you want if you stop squawkin', or what??

Could be because I got my results a long time ago.

    Russ, NCNE
  • Well then, by all means, won't you share them with us? Or maybe you already did but I missed the post??
