Kennedy Half Die Cracks

Are die cracks in Kennedy Half dollars common? This 1996-P has a crack through the neck going between the 1 and 9 then to the rim, another crack at the edge of the mouth, and a raised dimple on his chin. Also has a strange incuse line through the neck.

Maybe you can get PCGS to designate it!! Hell, if they will put the SB on a slab, maybe they will put "Drooling Kennedy" on it.
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

I had multiple rolls of 96-D halves with the same die crack along the bust and almost to the rim. I sold a few on ebay and then spent the rest.

Thanks for the replies. What do you think caused the smooth incuse line through the neck? Grease in the dies?

What would be a good estimate of the life of a Kennedy half die? I have 2006 that has a die crack on the reverse that runs from one rim through the eagles tail to the other rim.

I dont know about die cracks in recent years, but I have a couple 1966 Kennedys with a horizontal die crack through Kennedy's hair that runs the length of his head. Has anyone ever seen one like that?
