  I think an ACH is different than a standard bank wire, takes a little bit longer but cost is usually less and must be requested or stated that the money be sent ACH. Might check into that. My memory is kind of cloudy.
  
  Added: An ACH is cheaper than a standard bank wire. An ACH is sent with less information connected to it. Google ACH bank wire.

  At our bank we charge outgoing domestic wires $20, outgoing foriegn $50
